Short version: no cookies, no adverts, and a simple, privacy-friendly visit counter.

• No cookies. phonetics.languages.im doesn’t set any cookies.
• The converter and games. What you type into the converter and your quiz answers stay in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent to us. “Read aloud” uses your device’s built-in speech feature.
• Copy button. It puts the code words on your clipboard only when you press it.
• Visit counts. We use GoatCounter to count page views. It sets no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, browser type, screen size and country, but not who you are.
• Visitor counter. The counter in the footer shows GoatCounter’s public visitor count for the page you’re on (or, if that page has no count yet, the total across ReallyByte sites). It may be a few hours behind, and hides itself if it can’t load.
• Amazon links. The Books & kit page links to Amazon searches. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases; Amazon’s own privacy policy applies on its site.
• Other links. Links to sources, the shop checkout and our support page open other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
• Who we are. phonetics.languages.im is made by REALLYBYTE, based in the Isle of Man. If you email us at info@reallybyte.com, we only use your email to reply.
